We’re a group of Christians from across the world who are involved in the effective altruism movement. Our paths have crossed because we are all moved by God’s call to love beyond borders and because we believe that effective altruism helps us do that better. Our mission is to encourage fellow Christians to better meet the biblical call to care for others by adopting the ideas discussed within the effective altruism community.
We come from a wide variety of different church backgrounds and as an organisation we cooperate loosely with the Center for Effective Altruism. If you would like to join our team then please do get in contact, we’d love to hear from you.
Dominic Roser is the director of the EA for Christians task force. Dominic splits his time between fatherhood and a senior lecturer post in ethics at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). He loves Sunday mornings at the local Anglican Church and enjoys playing strategy games.
He welcomes opportunities to speak about the intersection of Christianity and effective altruism and can be reached at email@example.com.
